The Cuban singer Erik Alejandro Iglesias, better known as Cimafunk, was presented for the first time in Miami offering a concert that fascinated the entire audience.
The Global Cuba Fest took place at North Beach Bandshell in Miami Beach on Saturday, March 30. The fans were able to enter the event starting at 6:00 pm, to start the concert an hour later.
Many of his fans have wondered what is the meaning of Cimafunk, to which he answered on one occasion: "Cima comes from Cimarron and Funk ... it's a musical style. The mix expresses something that I think I am: a combination of Afro-Cuban music with funk, there goes both sound and aesthetics, and of course discourse ".
She also performed in this Global Cuba Fest Daymé Arocena, the Afro-Cuban jazz singer from Havana and a lover of following the musical traditions of her native land. Daymé is considered to be the best female singer in Cuba. With his charisma and singing he impacted the audience.
The event was carried out thanks to the collaboration of the Miami Light Project and The Rhythm Foundation.
After the event, Cimafunk made a post on his Facebook account thanking everyone who attended: "Thanks Miami! GLOBAL HEATER last night! "Which was" Sold out ". He also posted another photo on Instagram directed to his fans in Miami, having more than 1,500 likes.
